What you’ll be doing
- Thoroughly understand and follow owner contract, architectural drawings, site (project) specifications, and project schedules
- Maintain document control logs and revisions
- Manage multiple scopes of work including self-performed and subcontracted
- Assist in managing subcontractor change order costs, budgets, and pay application billings; including soliciting, receiving, and reviewing quotes
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent in maintaining project information including submittals, RFI’s, ASI’s, change orders, project schedule, and more
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and budget with professionalism
- Foster a strong working relationship with the client and subcontractors
What you bring to the table
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer on mixed-use, multi-family, high-rise and/or commercial projects
- Proficiency with MS Projects, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated ability to follow up and follow through on assignments and projects
- A solid understanding of building MEP systems
- Strong verbal, written, computer and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time appropriately and prioritize tasks effectively
